I am shocked that noone has mentioned or even eluded to Champion Nutrition and its line of protein products!!
Pure Whey(chocolate) is great. Low in fat and good amount of protein per serving. I personally mix it with water or my MRP but either way it can be enjoyed without plugging your nose or standing by the toilet!
Stay away from anything GNC or Muscletech! Unless you like decorating your house with tubs of protein.
Designer is also not a good option IMO.

creatine monohydrate

I hate creatine monohydrate the bastard stuff doesn't dissolve in anything, the first time i took it i thought oh this dont taste so bad, but when i got to the end the stuff was at the bottom of the glass and it got stuck in between my teeth, my god it was worse than when you take paracetamol and you get that aftertaste, im gonna try musclemax cyclone, i hear its ok

Hi everyone,
Finally back to the gym and the board after a 3 year hiatus. Anyone still take Isopure? I use to have both the clearish stuff in the bottles and the Zero Carb Perfect Isopure powder. Now I've noticed that even the clear stuff comes in powder form. Has anyone tried that? Like the apple melon for example? Is it as tasty as the premixed stuff in bottles?

Most of all, is Isopure still one of the crowd favorites or has it been replaced by something else?

Thanks! I really feel behind the times.

Never heard of Isopure - I've only used Creatine Monohydrate - but I've only been using supplements less than a year so I dont know about that Isopure stuff - I've heard MuscleMax Cyclone All In One is excellent - I tried American Brands but they were too sickly sweet - Weider was one - European tastebuds are so different than people in the USA. Musclemax is a U.K based company and they screen test each batch to assess its purity - sportsmen and women in the U.K use it because its screened for illegal substances and its the most popular in the U.K, for two or three months supply you get a massive tub for 60euro, I dont know them but I can see about getting the weight and contents info and post them early next week. You can get capsules now if your on the go like myself

Have any of you guys tried Muscle Milk? It tastes so good that I look forward to drinking it everday. I am addicted to the cookies and cream flavor. It tastes just like a milkshake and I have acheived considerable gains from it. Designer protein tastes like dogsh*t for sure, I had the same experience with it.

Brethren,
Its been forever since I've posted... I've fallen victim to the
pitfalls of getting too involved with work. Its been about 2 years
since I've worked out regularly. I'm getting back on track and will
be using Optimum -- they have the very best combo of quality, taste,
and price. When I feel like some dessert, its Muscle Milk cookies and
cream or root beer float all the way!!! I'm 38 now, and have realized how
important taste becomes when you get older. Now... lets see what damage
I can do over the course of the next 90 days.

Strength and honor,
Maxasianmuscle

Best brand for the money without a doubt is TrueProtein.com.

You won't pay for all the marketing and high mark up that you will with the commercial big names. You won't be forced to buy a product and have it mixed with other ingredients that you don't need. What you want is what you get.

Whats also cool is that you can custom design your own protein formulas. ... and you know exactly whats in it. They are awesome!

If you are interested, use this code, RHK950 and save 5% on your order, regardless of size.
